BARON SAMEDI-(Leather, Sandalwood, Birch Tar, Rum, Cedar, Honey, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Tobacco, Musk)-Perfume, Cologne, Anointing, Ritual Oil
(Leather, Sandalwood, Birch Tar, Rum Cedar, Honey, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Tobacco, Musk)
He's depicted as a tall man with a skeletal appearance. He wears an old tuxedo, a top hat and walks with a cane.
He's known for debauchery and creating mayhem where he goes. It's said that he acts this way to show people that he doesn't abide by the rules of the living and to teach the living to enjoy life while they can because it doesn't last forever.
It's said that when our time here is up we will all meet Baron Samedi as he waits for us at the crossroads between the world of the living and the dead.
It's believed by some that he's the only one who can accept an individual into the realm of the dead and it's thought that once Baron Samedi digs a grave for a person the person dies.
As the soul of the deceased rises from the grave,
Baron greets them and leads them to the underworld. It's said that he's able to see the worlds of the living and the dead at the same time.
It's said that if Baron Samedi refuses to dig someones grave that they cannot die. By refusing to dig a grave for someone, he can not only prevent death but also heal them from any ailment or curse.
Baron Samedi is an eerie and dark blend of aged leather, spiced rum, charred wood, sweet honey, rich tobacco, gnarly oakmoss, mysterious vetiver and musk.

The oils that I create are intuitively blended to give you a unique and mystical experience. I use a variety of materials including plant absolutes, essential oils, fragrances, resins, botanical oils and natural essences from roots, flowers, herbs and stones. They are then blended into a carrier oil and are safe to use on the skin. They can be applied to the pulse points and worn as a perfume or cologne or used to anoint the body before a ritual or ceremony. I recommend infusing them with an intention before applying them to give them a personal energetic boost.
The Earth and it’s inhabitants are sacred and I treat them as such. I work hard to keep my creations and packaging cruelty free, responsibly sourced and eco-friendly.
With Love, HagRoot
