Imbolc Blessings
Sending Imbolc blessings to everyone. Last night I attended a beautiful Imbolc ceremony facilitated by a powerful soul sister. While we were drumming I found myself on a journey into a cave. The cave had a pit of fire in the center. I stood there for a minute soaking up the energy of the fire and of Brigid. I walked past the fire to a connecting room. I had been there before. It’s where I connect with Hekate. I embraced her beautiful darkness as it soothed my shadows and gifted me with immense clarity. Then I entered the final room. The floor was covered in snakes. In the center of the room was an enormous white snake. She was beautiful and powerful and I knew that she was a queen or a goddess. Her message was one of hope, transformation and an immense rising of personal power. The journey was a reminder of how connected the dark and the light truly are. How connected everything and everyone is. It was a rekindling and reawakening of the fire and the medicine within all of us. We have so many wise helpers, healers and teachers waiting for us to open up enough to receive their assistance.
I shared my journey with the circle and this morning my friend sent me the most synchronistic article. The article spoke about Brigid being known as the Serpent Queen and her serpent was said to be white. Brigid is associated with the element of fire, new beginnings, transformation, rebirth, spiritual awakening and hope.
There’s an energy that I’ve been feeling lately of intense change. Many people are coming into their power and awakening to their medicine and the unseen. I see and feel so much falling away and being dismantled and discarded as new ways of living are being shown to us. It seems that more people are gathering in community and supporting one another. I feel a softening of the ego and a rising of conscious creativity as well as self-love and acceptance.
