I woke up one morning thinking I had my day planned but the universe had something else in store for me.
I had been feeling the pull to get back to jewelry making but on this particular morning, the whole process felt guided. These necklaces demanded to be made.

I took out 13 glass bottles and began filling them with herbs, bones, resins, berries and stones.

Each ingredient strengthening the potency of the charm and connecting me more with the process and the magick of it all.
When I added the shed snake skin is when I understood the purpose of these necklaces.
They are for growth, new beginnings, change and transitions into new territory.
These necklaces were created to give the wearer strength and courage during these times of change.

Below is a list of the ingredients that I used and their properties.

Found snake bones + shed snake skin:
Snake medicine is very ancient and extremely powerful. Snake medicine includes wisdom, healing, initiation, elusiveness, transmutation, exploration of the mysteries of life, elemental energy, goddess energy, psychic visions, creative power and the ability to travel between the realms. Using Snake Medicine allows us to shed our skin (our illusions and limitations, getting rid of that which no longer serves us) to achieve peace, health and oneness.

Labradorite:

Labradorite is a stone of transformation. It aids in strength and perseverance, strengthens your intuition, banishes fears and insecurities, helps you to believe in yourself and protects your energy field.

Dandelion Root:
Dandelion Root promotes creativity, courage, bravery and inspiration. It dispels negative energy, increases psychic abilities, promotes prophetic dreams and aids in growth and transformation.

Frankincense Tears:
Frankincense is emotionally and spiritually uplifting. It brings clarity to the mind and connects you to your higher consciousness. It also promotes feelings of peace and satisfaction.

Passion Flower:

Passion flower calms the mind, reduces stress, opens the third eye and aids in lucid dreaming and spirit communication.

Skullcap:

Skullcap promotes feelings of peace and relaxation. It clears tension and stress from the energy field. It is also used for protection and for astral travel.

Hawthorn Berries:
Hawthorn berries aids you in coming into your power and your strength,
It heals a broken heart, opens you to give and receive love, aids in self-love and self-acceptance and promotes courage.

Each bottle has been sealed with clay and adorned with a prehnite stone.

The etching on the clay is a mix of sacred symbols, words + faces (some hidden, some visible) and organic texture.

Prehnite is considered the stone to heal the healer. It enhances inner knowing and brings peace and protection to the wearer.

The pendant measures 3.5" x 1" and hangs from a sturdy 21" antique copper style chain with a clasp.

Please keep your necklace out of water. To charge or cleanse it, you can let it sit under the full moon overnight.
