Scavenger Witch Medicine Bag
This scrappy patchwork medicine bag is made from salvaged leather, ethically sourced wool yarn that is handspun with magickal fibers and is adorned with an antique style pentacle.
The pentacle was considered by the ancients to have supernatural properties and to be a powerful protective symbol. For many years people have marked their doors with pentagrams to ward off evil spirits. It is also used to aid in communication with the spirit world and the natural world. It's five points represent the elements of earth, air, fire and water and spirit. A five-pointed star (pentagram) with a circle around it is referred to as a pentacle. The circle represents a sacred space of protection.
The bag measures 5.5" x 4.25" and hangs from a 23" handspun cord.
