We currently share our home the three adult cats and two kittens.
Mrs. Kitty, the tabby came from a high kill shelter.
Michi, the grey cat is a miracle cat. We found him on 4th of July weekend in the middle of a 75mph highway in Fort Worth in 2024. He was about 7 weeks old. We think possibly he followed his mom across the highway and was too small to get over the median. When we got to him he had already bit hit and was incredibly dehydrated.
We rehabbed him and gave him lots of love and now he's healthy, happy and insanely spoiled.
Mama Cat, the black cat, was living in a community of about 30 other cats at a mechanic shop. The shop changed owners and all the cats had to go. Mama Cat adopted my husband and within a couple of weeks we realized she was pregnant. She came to us with a respiratory infection that is now healed but she passed it on to her two kittens.
We're healing them now and they're doing much better.
Since she only had two kittens, we're going to let them stay with us.
We wish we could save all the cats but unfortunately that's not possible.

If you have a cat or kitten that needs to be re-homed please connect with rescue groups in your area before putting them on Craigslist of social marketplaces.
There are a lot of scammers and animal abusers out there that don't have the animals best interests at heart.
And please don't release them outside and assume that they'll be fine.
If you feel called to have a cat or kitten in your life, please adopt one in need of a home rather than from a breeder or pet store. Approximately 530,000 cats are euthanized in U.S. shelters every year. Please don't add to that number.
