HagRoot is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Granbury, Texas, who creates collages, assemblages and spirit dolls that are raw, intuitive and speak to the soul.
Since 2010, she has been sharing her unique vision with the world, often incorporating found or discarded materials to promote environmental awareness while exploring themes of peace, healing, compassion, presence, self-growth, shadow work, consciousness and activism. 

Her art serves as a way of coming home to herself. It’s an exploration of shadow and light and the interconnected nature of all things.
Through the sacred act of creating, she pieces together fragments of papers, scraps and elements from the collective to reveal the hidden connections between seemingly unrelated pieces.
With collage, she becomes an alchemist, transforming everyday images into pieces with profound personal meaning.
By tearing images from their original contexts and juxtaposing unlikely elements, she creates new ways of seeing and challenges your perceptions about “reality”.

HagRoot’s art has been sold worldwide and exhibited in local galleries and numerous events throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
